Dance, Act, Sing, Perform...do it all at LA Performing Arts! Classes offered for ages 3-Adult in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio, TX. Dance classes include Jazz, Ballet, Broadway, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary, and more. Acting classes in TV/Film and Improv.

A $30 registration fee is also due upon enrollment for new students for Weekly, Professional and Specialty Classes. (Does not include current Spring 2019 students) Once at the max-out rate, students may enroll in additional weekly classes at no additional charge! (subject to availability). Max out rates and monthly rates do not apply to any Specialty or Professional Classes.

Tuition and fees are NON – REFUNDABLE (except at management discretion, due to events beyond the Students’ control, e.g. class cancellation by L.A. Performing Arts). If Student wishes to transfer to another class or reschedule private lessons, the Studio will accommodate as available and will provide a comparable class or lesson (based on class size and age group availability). If transfer is not possible, Student will receive a credit that can be applied to another class of equal or lesser cost within 12 months beginning on the date of transfer request, at such time, the credit will expire. If class is cancelled in its’ entirety by L.A. Performing Arts, students will have the option to; transfer to another comparable class, or receive credit to apply to later sessions, or receive a refund.

Students may make up a Weekly Class in any same-age class.  All classes must be made up during the current session.

dress code

Dress codes are by age and class type.

Combo Classes

3-8 yrs: Pink leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes

Ballet Classes

9-18 yrs: Black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes (canvas preferred). Students may wear black skirts, shrugs/wraps and leg warmers as needed. Hair in a bun.  (Pointe students must wear convertible tights.)

Tap Classes

4-10 yrs: T-shirt, black jazz pants/leggings, black tap shoes.
11-18 yrs: Tight-fitted cami/tank top, black jazz pants/leggings or black dance shorts with tights, black tap shoes with a box toe.

Jazz Classes

6-12 yrs: Tight-fitted cami/tank top, black jazz pants/leggings and black jazz shoes.

Lyrical, Contemporary & Modern Classes

9-18 yrs: Tight-fitting cami or leotard, footless or transition tights with shorts, tan lyrical shoes (capezio is a good option). Modern does not wear shoes.

Broadway Classes

All ages: T-shirt, black jazz pants/leggings and black jazz shoes.  (Teen Broadway girls also need tan, 2 inch, t-strap character shoes.)

Hip Hop Classes

All ages: Hip hop attire is acceptable or any clothing that allows for movement (no jeans).  Students must wear hip hop, Keds or jazz shoes on studio floor. No street shoes.

Acting Classes

All ages: No dress requirements.

Adult Students

Comfortable clothing to move in.  Jazz/yoga style pants preferable with tight-fitting top so body movement can be seen. Ballet, hip hop or jazz shoes.

Boys (Dance Classes)

White t-shirt (red for Broadway), black jazz pants or shorts.  Dance appropriate shoes.

Sensations Dance Company & Junior Team 

Tight-fitting cami/tank with black jazz shorts and tan tights.  Shoes: black jazz shoes, tan jazz shoes and character heels.
