Dance, Act, Sing, Perform...do it all at LA Performing Arts! Classes offered for ages 3-Adult in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio, TX. Dance classes include Jazz, Ballet, Broadway, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary, and more. Acting classes in TV/Film and Improv.

A $30 registration fee is also due upon enrollment for new students for Weekly, Professional and Specialty Classes. (Does not include current Spring 2019 students) Once at the max-out rate, any additional classes are free! Max out rates and monthly rates do not include any Specialty or Professional Classes.

Weekly/Professional/Specialty Classes Refund Policy:  Students may receive a full refund up to to one week before the start of their first class less the $30 non-refundable registration fee.  Up to the start of the second class, student may receive a 50% refund less the $30 non-refundable registration fee.  No refunds will be given after the start of the student’s second class.  Any student that is registered for a class that is cancelled due to low enrollment will receive a full refund.  

Summer Camp Refund Policy: Sign up with no risk! Students may receive a full refund up to June 1st! Students cancelling after June 1st and up to 1 week prior to the camp start date will receive a full refund less a $25 late cancellation fee. No refunds will be given 6 days or less prior to the start of the camp or workshop.

 Make-ups:  Students may make up a Weekly Class in any same-age class.  All classes must be made up during the current session.

If you are registering multiple family members together, second member pays $15, third pays $15 and the rest are free of registration fees. You will never pay more than $60 total in registration fees. Once at the max-out rate, any additional classes are free! Students or families registering for 2 or more classes receive additional multi-class discounts off tuition. Does not include Specialty or Professional Classes.

dress code

Dress codes are by age and class type.

Combo Classes

3-8 yrs: Pink leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes

Ballet Classes

9-18 yrs: Black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes (canvas preferred). Students may wear black skirts, shrugs/wraps and leg warmers as needed. Hair in a bun.  (Pointe students must wear convertible tights.)

Tap Classes

4-10 yrs: T-shirt, black jazz pants/leggings, black tap shoes.
11-18 yrs: Tight-fitted cami/tank top, black jazz pants/leggings or black dance shorts with tights, black tap shoes with a box toe.

Jazz Classes

6-12 yrs: Tight-fitted cami/tank top, black jazz pants/leggings and black jazz shoes.

Lyrical, Contemporary & Modern Classes

9-18 yrs: Tight-fitting cami or leotard, footless or transition tights with shorts, tan lyrical shoes (capezio is a good option). Modern does not wear shoes.

Broadway Classes

All ages: T-shirt, black jazz pants/leggings and black jazz shoes.  (Teen Broadway girls also need tan, 2 inch, t-strap character shoes.)

Hip Hop Classes

All ages: Hip hop attire is acceptable or any clothing that allows for movement (no jeans).  Students must wear hip hop, Keds or jazz shoes on studio floor. No street shoes.

Acting Classes

All ages: No dress requirements.

Adult Students

Comfortable clothing to move in.  Jazz/yoga style pants preferable with tight-fitting top so body movement can be seen. Ballet, hip hop or jazz shoes.

Boys (Dance Classes)

White t-shirt (red for Broadway), black jazz pants or shorts.  Dance appropriate shoes.

Sensations Dance Company & Junior Team 

Tight-fitting cami/tank with black jazz shorts and tan tights.  Shoes: black jazz shoes, tan jazz shoes and character heels.
