Audition Technique and Commercial Performances - Gives students valuable information and prepares them for the audition and how to perform in commercial acting. Helps create “bookable behavior”.

Improv II - Focuses on Improv games, performances and intro to Improv Troops.

Professional Actors Program - Focuses on specific acting techniques including basic object, moment before, sense memory, endowment, imaginary (fourth) wall, substitution, inner monologue, objective, imagination, emotional memory, what if (fantasy) and character.

Professional Stage Performers Program - Helps students hone their craft performing live on stage through dance, theatre style acting and synchronization.

Our Combo classes cover a combination of ballet and jazz dance technique. Dancers learn ballet foundations and switch to jazz technique with up-beat songs and choreography. Teachers employ fun and engaging learning tools including bean bags to learn balance, ribbons to work on fluidity, and scarves to focus on arm positions, providing a fun and entertaining way to learn dance.

Our Broadway class combines singing, dancing, and acting. All three skills are worked on every week, with focus on specific technique and exercises to increase skills. The dance style is musical theater jazz, where students are taught to bring their own unique acting style and emotions into the choreography. Students learn how to incorporate proper singing technique into their dancing. Class material includes jazz dance technique, theater acting, improvisation, and vocal technique. Broadway students perform an acting script into a song and dance number.

Tap dancing is one of the most classic dance styles and is known for its energetic flow seen in the likes of people like Fred Astaire, Eleanor Powell, or Savion Glover. Our Tap classes focus on teaching students iconic technique, tap rhythms, beginner to advanced steps, and showmanship to up-beat music. Teachers use dance combinations to increase technique and memorization as well as focusing on increasing individual student abilities throughout the course, so each student can learn and grow while having fun making noise.

Our Jazz and Lyrical classes help build the proper skills students need to have a base foundation in dance, including preparation for musical theater and contemporary style dance. Our programs train dancers to be prepared for dance team auditions, including into our pre-professional company, the Sensations Dance Company. Jazz dance is the most predominant style performed in famous musicals, like West Side Story and Newsies. From Gene Kelly to Michael Jackson, jazz dance is also known for it's upbeat songs, flashy choreography, and combination of leaps and turns.

Ballet is one of the most classical styles of dance that evokes images of grace and beauty. Our classes have a focus on teaching ballet in a fun and safe environment, encouraging students to push themselves further at their own pace. Levels start at I & II, move into pre-pointe at level III, and begin more intensive pointe-work at levels IV & V. Once teacher evaluation has determined individual students are strong enough, they will be invited to their first pointe shoe fitting and then students begin pointe training.

Our Ballet/Jazz Tech class is strictly to work on technique. There is no choreography taught and there will be no performance. This class is recommended to those taking ballet or jazz classes and is a requirement for our Pointe class. This class is great for students looking to improve their skills.

Our Hip Hop classes cover a wide umbrella of hip hop dance styles, allowing students to become familiar with movements from break dancing, popping and locking, to tutting and freezes. Teachers work with students to understand body isolations and a lower center of gravity while teaching fun combinations and choreography, while encouraging students to find their own unique style.

Our Modern class is a style of dance that is made to contradict ballet rules. It is an expressive form of dance that uses contemporary movements while incorporating emotions and purpose. Teachers focus on teaching movements of freedom rather than movements of structure. The teacher uses different styles of dance in modern to help create a mood or story. Props can also be used to help tell a story through dance.

Our Contemporary dance class is a generous mix of dance styles including jazz, lyrical, modern and ballet. This dance style works to connect the mind and body through fluid dance movements. Teachers focus on floor work, using gravity to help the moves be more fluid. Contemporary is choreographed to many different kinds of music depending on what mood or story the teacher wants to convey.

Our TV/Film classes focus on training students at an individual level in a group setting to increase their acting range, with an emphasis on building upon student's strengths and increasing their skills and comfort level with new material. Students are filmed in class and work on material including: cold readings, commercials, monologues, partner-work, scene study, hitting the mark, memorization and more. Building a resume & headshot, proper auditioning etiquette, and auditioning technique is also covered in class.

Junior Team is our pre-company dance team. Auditions will be held in order to join our Junior Team. They will perform outside of the studio at events, competitions, sports games and more! See them Here

Company is our pre-professional dance team. Auditions will be held in order to join our Company Team. They have performed at many events in San Antonio and around the United States. Check out their page Here
